The DSW Trust operates schools for physically, mentally, and visually challenged children offering individualized intervention therapy aimed at making them self-reliant to the extent reasonably possible. The Trust does not limit its endeavors to classroom training alone. Its rehabilitation programs consider the child, its family, and its environment as a continuum in preparing them to survive life with minimal external support.

The State Commissionerate for Welfare of the Differently Abled, Tamil Nadu recognizes the reach and social work of DSW Trust and engages the Trust as its channel partner to discharge many of its welfare programs. The Rotary Club of Chennai extends support to initiatives with a shared vision undertaken by the Trust for the differently-abled.
